Description: Want to: - Help make US Government data open and transparent? - Learn how to organize and visualize massive datasets over the web? - Develop your Python, MongoDB, Solr, GeoDjango, Javascript, and HTML5 skills? - Join a team a high-impact open-source coding project? Join us for the MIT-Harvard GovData Project Winter Course! Open to the general data hacker community around Boson, and would love to see some of guys there.

OpenCoffee Cambridge Meetup

Description: Fellow web entrepreneurs and VCs gather once a week in Boston to grab some coffee, free WiFi, and chat about what's new. Around the world, tech entrepreneurs and investors are meeting regularly to drink coffee, network and hopefully do deals. No more of the old-school "please send us your executive summary before we'll even talk to you". A place to find opportunities.

Mass Innovation Nights

Description: Mass Innovation Nights is a monthly launch party and networking event powered by social media.  From gourmet dog food to iPhone apps, to enterprise software and medical devices, we showcase local innovation in the form of new products and encourage the local social media community -- that's you -- to blog, tweet, post pictures and video -- or, just tell someone.  Great cross-industry networking like nowhere else.  Always free and always fun!

Golden Seeds Boston Open Office Hours

Description: Golden Seeds is offering monthly Open Office Hours for all entrepreneurs, from 9a to noon.  We'll start with a one hour presentation and discussion of funding alternatives, followed by 1/2 hour sessions with our members 10am – noon.  Foley Hoag will have an attorney available to answer legal questions as well.
