Open Pediatrics: A game-changer in pediatric critical care - anywhere, anytime


Description: Dr. Jeffrey P. Burns, Chief of Critical Care Medicine at Children's Hospital Boston, has an amazing story to tell. He will share a journey that began as a dream to help pediatric medical staff who did not have access to critical knowledge they needed to save kids lives. While watching the Masters in 2009, he saw an interactive "see and do" web site he thought could do exactly what he wanted. As it turned out, this site was designed by IBM Interactive. After a three-year collaboration between Dr. Burns and the Cambridge-based IBM Interactive team led by Adam Cutler, Open Pediatrics is a reality

Tech Cocktail Sessions Boston - Startup Inspiration: Turning Ideas Into Action

OpenCoffee Cambridge Meetup


Description: Fellow web entrepreneurs and VCs gather once a week in Boston to grab some coffee, free WiFi, and chat about what's new. Around the world, tech entrepreneurs and investors are meeting regularly to drink coffee, network and hopefully do deals. No more of the old-school "please send us your executive summary before we'll even talk to you". A place to find opportunities.
