TechStars Happy Hour in Boston

Description: Join David Tisch (Managing Director, NYC) and Katie Rae (Managing Director, Boston) for Happy Hour in Boston. This event is for applicants and startups interested in learning more about TechStars, including our Summer Program in NYC.

Description: We have an awesome Education cluster forming in Boston. If you have an education startup or are interested in the industry, don’t miss this!

The second monthly ed tech meet-up brings together entrepreneurs who are in the education technology space and those who are interested in learning more. It is an informal networking event to allow entrepreneurs to meet one another and build a community.

Description:   Lean Startup Circle Boston April Lean Workshop

  • 7:20pm - Rob Fan, Co-Founder and CTO, Sharethrough Sharethrough is the leading social video seeding and marketing platform that guarantees views for branded content.

Description:   Urban renewal is a hot topic and the Awesome Foundation is big into supporting into creative minded people who focus on harnessing a community's energy to complement larger scale bricks and mortar development.

The Boston Chapter awarded it’s February grant to artist and basketball enthusiast Maria Molteni in support of her mission to restore use of local abandoned b-ball courts by crafting DIY nets. This project harnesses the power of shared activity and public space in fostering a bond of trust between artists, athletes, and neighbors.

Description:   Boston Media Makers get together at Doyle’s in Jamaica Plain on the first Sunday of each month from 10 AM – Noon. We gather around a big table and answer the question, “What are you doing?” If you are interested in meeting people who are working with audio and video on the web, this is a great meeting to attend. We get podcasters, videobloggers, filmmakers, artists, writers, PR and social media people.
