Boston has great resources including co-working spaces like Dogpatch and the Cambridge Innovation Center, accelerator programs like Mass Challenge and Techstars and generous sponsors like Silicon Valley Bank, Microsoft and T3 Advisors. But Boston also has some kickass parties!

Other startup hubs like NYC, SF and Austin are known for their parties and huge events. NYC has their Tech Meetups, Austin hosts the legendary SXSW and SF seems to have a cocktail party every night. But the other cities don’t realize that Boston rocks out too!

Who’s ever been to a Dartboston Startup Flipcup or the Techstars Demo Day after party!? How about Ruby Riot, the 1000 Pirates Party or a BREW event? These parties are what brings the community together. When you have venture capitalists, founders, employees and enthusiasts enjoying each other’s company in one room then you’ve done something very special. So let’s keep these parties coming, the pictures sharing and the buzz going so everyone knows that Boston knows how to throw down like the rest of them!
