Produced by MITX, the industry’s largest trade association for the Internet business and marketing community, and sponsored by Atom Group, DLA Piper, LEWIS PR, and PricewaterhouseCoopers, the 7th Annual Technology Awards is a regional competition that recognizes and celebrates the most innovative technologies and services developed in New England. The competition provides a powerful opportunity for start-ups and mature technology companies alike to showcase their technologies to the media, investment and general business community. Over the last seven years, this competition has honored hundreds of emerging companies and enterprises that have acknowledged the validation and exposure it brings to their company and products. The call for entries is open from February 17th to March 26th (extended from the original date of March 17th). The competition is open to digital technologies created or developed in New England in eleven different categories, including:

• Cloud Computing
• Gaming
• Online Advertising
• E-Commerce
• Marketing/Customer Relationship

Entrepreneur Program

In addition to category winners for technologies with proven innovations, MITX will be presenting “Promise Awards” to start-up companies whose emerging technology solutions show promise to make a significant business impact. MITX has developed a special entrepreneur program for boot-strapped/pre-funded companies, to increase their awareness in the business and investment community. Subsidized by MITX to lower the cost barrier for entrepreneurs, the program includes a heavily discounted rate on entry fees and tickets, and joint marketing opportunities to maximize their exposure in the region.
