Location:
Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) 1 Broadway Cambridge, MA 02142
Description:

Lean Startup Machine is proud to announce that it will host its first workshop in Boston since graduating from TechStars NYC at the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) on Friday, September 27, through Sunday, September 29, 2013.

Lean Startup Machine has held 125 workshops in 50 cities, across 6 continents, for over 25,000 entrepreneurs and innovators.

Lean Startup Machine (LSM) is an intensive three-day workshop where entrepreneurs and innovators use Lean Startup principles to validate ideas for new products or services.

-Throughout the weekend, participants will be put through a comprehensive process that will push entrepreneurs to new limits and will surely shatter some perspectives on what is capable. Participants will be coached by local VC’s, investors, academics, successful entrepreneurs, and the Lean Startup Machine team on how to apply the methodology.

-In 2012, at Lean Startup Machine New York, two college kids, Josh Miller and Hursh Agrawal, who had never met before, formed a team and an idea that won the competition. Only months later their company, Branch (formerly Roundtable), raised $2.2M from the founders of Twitter, David Tisch, and SV Angel, among others.

-Lean Startup is a methodology that was made popular by world renowned author Eric Ries. The methodology has been known to save entrepreneurs time and money by helping them to avoid building products that nobody actually wants. Lean Startup helps entrepreneurs avoid this through validating and building things that customers will actually want, buy and use.
