Scrum Fundamentals class - learn the essentials of Agile organization
The basics of Agile/Scrum are easy, and have become nearly essential for all startup and early stage companies. Over the course of four hours, this class will cover the basic concepts of Scrum and introduce the philosophy behind it. Scrum is not just something you do, it changes the way people think about work. The course will explain the different roles in the Scrum framework, what a product backlog is, and what is with all the sticky notes. The goal for this course is to give attendees a solid foundation in Scrum concepts, the very idea of Agile project management, and how Scrum can help teams continuously improve productivity, quality, and make their customers ecstatic.
We recommend this course both to people who are totally new to Scrum and need an introductory course to learn the basics, and those that just need those basics brushed up. We’ve found it helpful for people who are using Scrum but want to understand the real reasoning behind its basic aspects. It is designed to give you the knowledge you need to be able to get the most out of the materials and ideas taught at our Certified Scrum Master and Certified Product Owner courses, enabling you to participate fully in discussions during those two courses on the intricacies, challenges, and strategies on how to implement and practice Scrum in your organization.
Scrum Inc. was founded and is run by Jeff Sutherland, the co-creator of Scrum. We maintain the Scrum framework with the latest in Agile thinking and practice, and have helped hundreds of companies become successful Agile organizations.
This is a 1/2 day course running from 1-5 pm. Discounts available for groups of 3 or more students - contact info@scruminc.com for more information.
