Awesome Boston is a newly launched program that brings the collective "story" of Boston's innovation economy to the the world around us, showcasing the game-changing business and vibrant startup culture that drives this great city. Launched as a collaboration of prominent civic groups and leading citizens, the AwesomeBoston.org portal seeks to engage and inform people around the world about Boston's unparalleled economic opportunity. The Awesome Boston initiative takes this message further by bringing successful local C-level execs to our local college campuses to discuss how the Greater Boston ecosystem was an integral part of their success and why it was, and is, a great place to live, work and play after college.
TiE-Boston is a comprehensive eco-system for entrepreneurs with vital resources for every stage of the entrepreneurial process. It is part of the global TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs) group that is the largest not-for profit organization promoting entrepreneurship. TiE-Boston runs several vibrant programs to educate, mentor, network and inspire entrepreneurs in the community. TiE connects entrepreneurs with each other and other stakeholders in the entrepreneurial world including other serial entrepreneurs, Angel Investors, Venture Capitalists, Vendors and Service Providers.
Mass Mobile Month is a collaborative, cross-organizational effort to bolster awareness of---and attendance at---the remarkable series of mobile industry events planned in and around Boston in March 2010. Xconomy Boston has published a website, massmobilemonth.com, aggregating detailed information about the events, along with blog posts, tweets, and a guide to resources on the New England mobile technology sector, and more.
