The IDEA Gap Fund
Each April and October, IDEA awards Gap Funding to ventures through a competitive application process. The IDEA Gap Fund commits up to $10,000 in capital to qualified ventures.
The IDEA Gap Fund invests in high potential ventures that have clearly identified the gaps between their current position and critical milestones that will materially accelerate their growth. The capital provided to ventures is tied to the accomplishment of milestones agreed to by the recipient ventures.
The terms of the investment will be negotiated between IDEA’s Gap Fund management team and the recipients. The principle goal of the fund is to be self-financed. Ultimately, in the future, funded ventures will make contributions back to the University and IDEA.
